The objective of the SDEPT is to address the comprehensive rehabilitation and reintegration of released prisoners. The program strives to break the cycle of recidivism and foster lasting change. The initiative incorporates a multifaceted approach, combining mental supporting, social Identity establishing, skill-building, and community support to empower participants in making positive life choices. SDEPT is a transformative program dedicated to fostering self-discovery, empowerment, and a seamless transition into a fulfilling life.

The motivation behind this project stems from my volunteer experience at Community Farms in Baltimore. During this time, I learned that many farms in our community were offering agricultural skills training services for individuals who had been incarcerated. It was through this opportunity that I first encountered many individuals reintegrating into society, prompting me to genuinely contemplate their challenges.
