A home food cultivation product, accompanied by an Instagram-based planting relay movement. Through hands-on planting practices and a drawing relay to stimulate a reconsideration of the relationship between humans and food, empowering individuals to break free from the grip of consumerism.
The motivation behind creating this product emerged during my volunteer work at Baltimore Community Farms. I realized that as consumers, we categorize crops into hierarchies, associating qualities like size and uniformity with superiority, while unfairly labeling others as inferior or even leading to wastage. In fact, these crops share identical cultivation processes, taste, and nutritional value. This project seeks to challenge societal perceptions and encourage a more equitable approach to food appreciation.
